At the heart of the festival is OPEN BLED, bringing players together
for nine rounds of competitive chess in a unique international setting.
Alongside the main tournament, participants can look forward to
side events, blitz and rapid competitions, simultaneous exhibitions,
seminars and special evenings with Grandmasters.
Beyond the board, players and their companions can enjoy wellness and spa experiences,
walks around Lake Bled, visits to Bled Castle, culinary experiences, tastings
and many other opportunities to discover one of Slovenia’s most beautiful destinations.
